JCDecaux showed the latest version of its Abribus ‘Shelter of the Future’ concept at MWC. As well as an information display for service updates, the shelter includes an 84″ information display and sensors so that content can be customised to match the viewer’s age and gender or the weather or air quality. There is a 360º camera. There is a digital touchscreen for interactivity and to display the data from the sensors. The shelter has NFC for data download and connections and there is a USB port for charging mobile devices. Wi-fi and 3G small cells can be fitted to provide wireless connections.
