Dec. 22, 2014 /PRNewswire/ — Stream TV Networks, Inc.™ is pleased to announce that U.S. television maker IZON, LLC has committed to a 2015 release of Ultra-D enabled products in collaboration with Stream TV.
IZON had previously explored other 3D solutions but has decided with Stream TV to mutually combine capabilities in the 3D industry. During recent months, the companies have worked closely together to create displays of various sizes for both the commercial and consumer markets.
“IZON has the entrepreneurial creativity of an emerging brand,” said Mathu Rajan, CEO of Stream TV Networks. “And they have established relationships with key North American retailers that offer distribution opportunities right out of the gate.”
IZON CTO Dominic Crain added, “When we first experienced Ultra-D, I saw a synergy with Stream TV’s Ultra-D format and IZON’s expertise in the 3D space. I knew we could collaborate in the industry and leverage each company’s strengths. Both companies want to be part of the first wave to bring this game-changing technology to a willing audience. It’s the future, here today.”
IZON is planning glasses-free 3D displays in several screen sizes, including the latest 65″ 4K Ultra-D display in their product assortment for 2015.
Ultra-D features both a stunning glasses-free 3D image as well as content conversion from any 2D or 3D source using patented hardware, middleware and sophisticated-software algorithms.
