iWedia, a company that provides software solutions for TV devices to service operators and consumer electronics manufacturers, has announced during IBC 2016 that its Linux-based Teatro-3.0 software solution for IP-connected zappers on top of SmarDTV’s SmarBOX Hybrid. During the same event, the company announced that its Teatro-3.5 software solution for Android TV STB is available for the latest family of STB chipsets from HiSilicon Technologies Co., Ltd, a provider of silicon solutions for digital home, communications and wireless terminals. iWedia has also been selected by STB manufacturer Justek Technology Co., Ltd., to provide the HbbTV 2.0 browser for its Android 5.1 hybrid UHD set-top box.
