A tiny video enhancement system has been developed by DVDO. The iScan Micro connects between an HDMI source and the display and uses VRS Clearview. It is able to scale content to UltraHD at 60fps.
As well as resolution scaling, the iScan Micro features mosquito noise reduction; edge and detail enhancement; and video smoothing. An IR input port is also supplied, as is a remote control.
DVDO will begin selling the iScan Micro in Q2, for $130.
