The Spanish pay-TV regulator, CNMC, says that the market in Spain reached 5.1 million subscribers at the end of last year – with 345,000 new customers in Q4. 325,000 of these were IPTV subscribers. 63.2% of subscribers were using a convergent package (TV with one or more additional services, such as broadband). Revenues were up to €485 million. DTT rose to €518.7 million; satellite to €304.1 million; IPTV to €111.2 million; and cable to €51 million. Free-to-air revenues grew significantly, from €330.8 million in Q3 to €504.2 million.
