According to France’s Distributique, Ingram Micro France has dismissed new head Pierre-Yvon Méchali, just nine months after his appointment. He will be replaced in July by Sophie Deleval, currently leader of the company’s Belgian branch. In the interim, former French MD Christian Bittebiere will run the subsidiary, and will himself leave Ingram for good at the end of the year, after 25 years with Ingram.
So far, there is no news on why Méchali was let go. He first joined Ingram 23 years ago.
