Foxconn company, InFocus Corp, has released SimpleShare, a display sharing presentation system that can work with and PC, Mac, DVD player, tablet, camcorder and many other devices in real time. There are no driver, software downloads or network management as the dongles connect to the HDMI output ports and are effectively a cable replacement. Up to 254 presenters can be supported. There are three bundled solutions, one with three transmitters and one receiver, and another that supports wireless touch from a touch display. The touch version supports annotation.
SimpleShare is now available worldwide through InFocus resellers and will be available directly from the manufacturer at www.infocus.com/store, starting at $899 US MSRP.
