The ICDM, which is working on display measurement, has a proposal, to be voted on during the SID Display Week in May to get financial support from the SID for a three year period, while the group works out how to maintain itself financially. Up to now, much of the work and costs have been borne by participants. The proposal limits the funding to a maximum of $100K per year, but will cover travel expenses and stipends to officers.
The ICDM is also developing a medical group that plans to add commentary that underlines the issues for medical displays (but not separate measurements).
