Protocol reports that HTC will release a Vive Focus 3 Business Edition standalone headset and a Vive Pro 2 PC VR headset aimed at businesses when it holds its ViveCon event next week. The blog said that the only gaming-related talk at ViveCon is about LBE, so it seems that professional applications will be the focus.
Protocol saw internal documents and the devices were listed (briefly) by an ecommerce site before being unlisted. Pricing was $1,770 and $1,102, respectively. Release dates were marked as 20th May.

Oculus is looking as though it won’t have much real competition for the Quest 2 in the shorter term and should see continued success. (BR)
