HTC Releases Vive Pro Enterprise Bundle, Announces Service Plans

HTC has released a Vive Pro bundle aimed at enterprises. The Vive Pro 2.0 Kit contains two second-generation SteamVR base stations, two controllers and the headset itself. The company released a similar bundle for consumers earlier this month, without the headset. (HTC Releases $300 Hardware Bundle for New Vive Pro Users)

This new kit is priced at $1,399, $300 more than it costs for consumers to set themselves up with Vive Pro from scratch. However, the base stations that come with the enterprise kit support a larger tracking area (10.1m²), providing users purchase two more base stations. The old base stations only covered spaces up to 4m².

HTC has also announced new service plans for the Vive Pro, with options including a two-year warranty for $199 and an immediate replacement service for $299, where users can obtain replacements for faulty parts without having to return anything.
