HTC has opened its third “Vive VR Cafe” in Shenzhen, China and plans to roll out ‘hundreds more’ according to an interview with Haptical. The other existing sites are in arcades in Taipei and Beijing. The company has developed a management platform for arcade and cafe owners. The report quotes Niko Partners as the source of data that there are 146,000 internet cafes in China (and a big market for gaming monitors – Man. Ed.). Once the business model is established in China, the concept may be rolled out internationally.
