HP Chooses Different Panel for Large Envy-Line

HP’s Envy 32 is one of the first Envy-line products to use a VA panel; IPS and TN are more common. Sound is a focus of the 32″ monitor, with dual 6W front-facing Beats Audio speakers, a volume-jog dial and one-touch mute button.

A remote control enables the adjustment of monitor settings such as volume, power, menu navigation and input switching. The Envy 32 offers a wide range of inputs, including DisplayPort, MHL-HDMI, HDMI, USB 2.0 (x2) and USB-B.

Resolution is 2560 x 1440, with 178 deg viewing angles and a 7ms response time. HP has not provided the static contrast ratio of the display yet. An anti-glare covering is used. Brightness is 300 cd/m
