HP Adds Windows 11 Devices

HP added some new PCs that are optimised for Windows 11.

There is a 34″ All-in-One desktop PC in the HP Envy line with a 21:9 aspect ratio and a ‘5K’ display with 98% of DCI-P3 coverage and Delta E of <2. It has a magnetic detachable camera and 11th Gen Intel processors up to a Core i9 S-series and with an Nvidia RTX3080 graphics processor. There are dual Thunderbolt 4 ports with Type-C connectors as well as USB Type A, RJ45 and both USB Type C and dual superspeed USB ports. A memory card reader is built into the stand.

Two new monitors were announced, the HP U32 4K HDR monitor ($499) a 31.5″ UltraHD IPS device and the HP M34d WQHD (3440 x 144) curved VA product. The U32 ($530) has 99% of sRGB and 98% of DCI-P3. It is certified to DisplayHDR 400 and is quoted as having 4ms GtG. The M34d can refresh up to 100Hz and has 250 cd/m² and 3,500:1 contrast. Colour coverage is 99% sRGB.

Both monitors have DP1.4, USB Type-C and USB Type ports.

The HP Spectre x360 is a 2-in-1 laptop PC that has a 16″ 16:10 display and is available with a 3840 x 2400 OLED option that has a VESA True Black HDR and what HP calls ‘100% color calibration’.

As well as these products there is an 11″ tablet PC with a magnetic, detachable keyboard.

What We Think

We assume that the 5K display is 5040 x 2160, although a detailed specification did not seem to have been released when we created this article. (BR)
