LG Unveils UltraGear OLED Gaming Monitors with Cutting-Edge Dual-Hz Technology

LG is set to release a new range of UltraGear OLED gaming monitors. The lineup includes a notable 32-inch 4K model (32GS95UE), offering a 240Hz refresh rate, a rapid 0.03ms Gray-to-Gray (GtG) response time, and innovative features like LG’s Dual-Hz capability and Pixel Sound technology. Additionally, LG is introducing 39- and 34-inch models with ultra-wide curved screens, namely the 39GS95QE and the 34GS95QE, the latter having won the CES 2024 Innovation Award.

The 32GS95UE is the first UltraGear monitor to be equipped with the new Dual-Hz feature, allowing users to switch between 4K (3,840 x 2,160) at 240Hz and Full-HD (1,920 x 1,080) at 480Hz with one click. (Source: LG)

The 32GS95UE stands out as the first UltraGear monitor to incorporate the Dual-Hz feature, enabling users to switch between 4K at 240Hz and Full-HD at 480Hz effortlessly. This versatility allows gamers to choose the best resolution and refresh rate combination for different gaming genres. The monitor also boasts an exceptionally fast 0.03ms (GtG) response time, enhancing motion clarity and dynamic gameplay, paired with LG’s renowned self-lit OLED technology for superior color and contrast.

The design of the 32GS95UE emphasizes minimal screen bezels and a sophisticated sound system. The monitor’s virtually borderless design and Pixel Sound technology, integrated within a front-facing sound system that includes two woofers and supports DTS Virtual:X, enhance the gaming experience. This design eliminates the need for external speakers, saving desk space.

The 34-inch 34GS95QE and 39-inch 39GS95QE models extend gaming immersion with their 800R-curved, 21:9 UltraWide Quad-HD OLED displays. They also feature LG’s Anti-Glare & Low Reflection Coating, a borderless design, 240Hz refresh rate, and 0.03ms (GtG) response time. The curved format and OLED display technology create a more immersive gaming and content viewing experience.

In addition to these models, LG’s 2024 UltraGear OLED gaming monitor lineup includes two 45-inch monitors and a 27-inch monitor (models 45GS95QE, 45GS96QB, and 27GS95QE). All models are VESA DisplayHDR True Black 400 certified. The 45-inch 45GS96QB model is designed for immersive gaming, featuring an UltraWide QHD resolution curved OLED display and built-in speakers. The 27GS95QE is a compact option with a 27-inch flat screen OLED display, suitable for smaller spaces but still packed with high-end gaming specifications.
