How to choose the best TV for gaming

What They Say

Engadget created an article that looked at the best TVs for gaming. It looks at frame rates, inputs, Auto Low Latency Mode, HDR (including HGiG – HGiG explained: what is HGiG?)

The blog also tested TVs from LG, Samsung, Sony and Vizio and basically, the reviews were positive.

“Call of Duty in high frame rate is one of the most responsive experiences I’ve ever had, and it felt like it changed the way I played the game.”

However, the reviewer found glitches and said

“it was still hard to know what might work and when.”

What We Think

Hmmm… it seems that the consoles, which are basically PCs, have helped to change the TV experience to be one of compatibility and glitches. It was always said that “the beauty of the IBM PC standard is that there are so many to choose from”. (BR)
