An opening ceremony for the University of Hong Kong and TCL Corporation’s joint research lab was held earlier this month. President and Vice-Chancellor Professor Peter Mathieson from the University and TCL CEO Mr Dongsheng Li were present at the ceremony.
The HKU-TCL Joint Laboratory for New Printable OLED Materials and Technology has been devised to combine the expertise of both businesses to facilitate development of high-performance OLED technology, and is part of a new partnership that has been described as “synergistic, complementary and mutually enhancing”.
