HDTVTest had its first look at this year’s LG G2 OLED which features a heatsink to help dissipate heat and reduce image retention. Tester Vincent Teoh found that the technique worked effectively, with retention disappearing faster than a 48″ that did not have the heatsink.
He confirmed that the new composite case material is lighter than last year’s and his first impression is that it’s among the best of the 2022 crop of TVs.
