HbbTV To Create Application For Online Streaming

The HbbTV Association has issued a Request for Proposals to create a reference application for online streaming of DRM protected video. It hopes to make it simpler for content providers to monetise content, by having a working application which can be used as a model. This would also help the growth of the HbbTV system.
