The HbbTV Association has announced that the new version of the HbbTV conformance test suite has been published.
This is the second of three annual releases. It includes 75 new approved tests and 107 repaired and re-approved tests following feedback from users. The release includes test cases for HbbTV 2.0.1 and covers its most differentiating features — e.g., DASH, HTML5 and subtitles.
The test suite is available free of charge for all HbbTV members or can be used by any non-member organisation through registered HbbTV test centres.
