The 7th HbbTV Symposium and Awards will take place on November 14th and 15th 2018 at ESMT in Berlin, Germany. The annual event targets platform operators, broadcasters, advertisers, standards organisations and technology companies, and will be carried out in conjunction with German industry association Deutsche TV-Plattform.

The event will cover HbbTV deployments in new and existing markets; improving viewer experiences on broadcast, OTT and multiscreen platforms; advanced rights management and content protection solutions; targeted advertising and other monetisation opportunities; and the prospects of UHD, HDR and VR/AR for broadcasters, platform operators and consumers.
The assocation will also host the second edition of the HbbTV Awards featuring a wide range of categories designed to acclaim best practice and excellence in the HbbTV community.
