Harmonic and TNO Show UHD VR

Harmonic is to show native UltraHD VR at IBC 2016 (9th-13th September, Amsterdam; stand 1.B20), in collaboration with Dutch research institute TNO. The demonstration will use TNO’s HEVC tiling technology, which enables VR content distribution at ‘very high’ quality over existing CDNs. Harmonic will also show its VR work alongside Viaccess-Orca, through a new multiview app.
