According to the Chinese-language Economic Daily News, due to growing demand for touch sensors used in AMOLED panels, HannsTouch Solution will invest $58.3 million and expand production capacity to 48,000 units in the third quarter of 2017, from the existing 36,000 substrates a month.
HannsTouch Solution had consolidated revenues of $9.3 million in February 2017, which was a drop of 5.96% on month but a rise of 42.70% on year. For the first two months of this year, the company consolidated revenues were $19.15, which is a rise of 10.40% on year
The company is a supplier of touch sensors used in AMOLED panels for Samsung Display.
