What They Say
Google has bought Raxium, a five year start-up that has been developing monolithic microLEDs for headset use. The company said on its website that it is developing microLEDs with 3.5 micron pixel pitch. The Silicon Valley firm includes staff including Rick Schneider, previously the CTO at Gl? and Michael Klug that had been VP of Advanced Photonics at Magic Leap. What We Think
There’s not much information on the firm’s website and that it was around while managing to stay ‘below the radar’ – the firm’s name didn’t turn up in my search index – which covers a lot! (BR)
