Gigabyte Unveils S55U 55-Inch Android-Powered 4K Gaming Monitor

Gigabyte of Taiwan has a new 55″ 120Hz UltraHD gaming monitor that uses a QD VA panel with a claimed 2ms response time and 96% of DCI-P3 coverage. It also supports the Android OS and has a Google Assistant and Chromecast support. There are HDMI 2.1 ports, Ethernet, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connections.

Peak brightness is claimed at 1,500 cd/m² and response times as 2ms GTG (min)/ 5ms GTG (avg). VRR is supported by FreeSync Premium. HDR support includes Dolby Vision / HDR10 / HDR10+ and HLG and the set has 132 dimming zones. Audio is via dual 10W speakers.
