Fujitsu Frontech in the US announced the Windows-based Stylistic V535 Tablet which features an 8.3″ PCap touch IPS LCD display and the company’s newest and smallest palm vein biometric sensor. The panel has 1920 x 1200 resolution with 800:1 contrast and 400 cd/m² of output. The tablets can also support a dual external display via HDMI. Connections are via micro-USB.
The tablet is water and dust resistant (IP65) and the battery is rated for up to 6.5 hours. The tablet is drop tested up to 1.8 M (when fitted with a rugged frame) or 1 M (without frame) to MIL-STD 810G.
Processors are Intel BayTrail Atom Z3795 at 2.4GHz and RAM is 4GB with 64GB or 128GB of storage. Battery capacity is 4425mAh.
