Fossil Will Have Diesel and Slim Watches

Fossil has shown a new line of its Diesel ‘On’ smartwatches which have full screen AMOLED displays rather than being hybrids, like its earlier products. The devices are compatible with iOS and Android and run Android Wear 2.0 on a Snapdragon 2100 processor. The watch has fitness functions and ‘ironic’ features include an apparently cracked screen when a message arrives. The watch supports Google Assistant. The watches will appear in the second half of 2017 at prices from $325.

Separately, we saw a report that Fossil will have two ‘very slim’ Fossil-branded models, the Q Venture and Q Explorist and an Emporio Armani watch. There will also be a slim watch under the Skagen brand and in total, Fossil may release 300 models this year, under a variety of brands.
