Five Slovakian distributors have been fined €4.28 million for taking part in an illegal cartel. ABC Data, Asbis, AT Computers, eD’system and SWS Distribution were accused of conspiring to agree to the levy of a €1 handling fee for each invoice to their customers. The cartel was alleged to have been agreed in February 2013 at a meeting in Sri Lanka. Asbis received the heaviest fine of €2 million, followed by eD’system with a fine of €1.25 million and AT Computers with €583,000. ABC Data and SWS Distribution were fined €264,000 and €143,000 respectively.
