Fitbit Charge 3 Has Upgraded OLED

Fitbit has upgraded its fitness tracker to the Chrge 3. It has an enhanced PurePulse heart rate sensor in addition to the SpO2 blood oxygen sensor that’s present in the Versa and Ionic smartwatches although it doesn’t include GPS.

The design is more like a smartwatch and the software is a new platform. The display is a new monochrome touch OLED, protected by Gorilla Glass 3. It is said to be 40% larger and brighter than the previous one (but we were unable to track down specifications).

The tracker is waterproof to 50m and it can run for 7 days without recharging. Cost is $149 for the standard version and it will ship in October.
