After buying Pebble in December (Fitbit/Pebble Deal is Confirmed), Fitbit has acquired Vector, a start-up that has its own software platform and is designed to complement smartphones. Features of the Vector watches include always on displays and 30 day battery life (courtesy of its E Ink display). The company said that updates and features would not be updated, although sales and warranty support would continue.
