Eyevis video walls have been used in two European installations recently. The first consisted of 24 70″ EC-70-LHD-CP-1000 rear-projection cubes, for Norway’s Public Roads Administration in Leikanger. The video wall, which required a high degree of reliability, is used to monitor traffic across the PRA’s Region West.
The second installation was in Bavaria, Germany. A 3 x 2 wall serves as the backdrop for the studio of Munich-based München Live TV, and uses six 46″ EYE-LCD-4600-M-USN-LB-BC screens. This is a special model of the thin-bezel EYE-LCD-4600, designed especially for broadcast applications. The colour temperature is precisely adjusted to 3,000K, and can reach 6,000K. Two additional displays are present in the studio, and are used as mobile units.
