Last month, Everdisplay showcased its own products at the China International Hi-Tech Fair, and announced new small AMOLEDs to be released next year.
Showing a new product roadmap, Everdisplay’s Zhu Ketai Hui said that a new product will be released every quarter next year. He began by speaking about the products we had already heard of (Display Monitor Vol 21 No 43): a 5.6″ LCD smartphone display (1920 x 1080) in Q1 and a 1.63″ AMOLED display (320 x 320) in Q2.
The Fair marked the first time that Everdisplay had spoken about products beyond this point. Q3 will see a 6″ AMOLED display (2560 x 1440), and a 5″ panel (1920 x 1080) later in the year.
