European DOOH Sentiment Begins to Reverse

OVAB Europe France LED technology outlookFrance is Europe’s third-largest DOOH market. Although sentiment remained positive, it was down almost 15 points from OVAB’s last survey in March/April, to 44.9.

Although more than 90% of respondents see their current market situation as ‘good’ or ‘satisfactory’, there has been a fall in expectations for the next six months. In the previous survey, 70.2% of respondents expected the market to rise, and 29.8% predicted no change. These numbers have now shifted to 56.4% and 38.5%, respectively. 5.1% are preparing for a decline in the market.

As in the Benelux region, there are big expectations for LED technology, for the same reasons. Digital signage and DOOH companies all see high-to-very-high potential. Outdoor is again seen as the favoured application: 85.7% of respondents said that the outdoor outlook for LED technology was ‘high’ or ‘very high’, compared to 64.9% in indoor.
