Juniper Research said that revenues from enterprise AR apps will reach $5.7 billion by 2021, rising ten fold from an estimated $515 million in 2016. Consumer apps in AR will stay behind enterprise over the forecast period. The company pointed out both the success of Pokemon Go and also the speed at which interest had waned.
Juniper also released a brief white paper on AR called “Augmented Reality – Not Just Fun and Games”
