Eizo Corp said that the firm had been awarded a Scientific and Technical Award by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences for its ColorEdge CG Series monitors with integrated self-calibration sensors. That is to say, a technical ‘Oscar’. The release included a long list of studios that provided supporting comments, including:

(It was pointed out to me after publication that ‘Oscar’ is not accurate. It was a “Scientific and Technical Award”. I had not understood the different levels of award. (BR)
