eBay has launched a new augmented reality feature for newer Android devices that uses the motion-tracking and environmental awareness features of Google’s ARCore, enabling sellers using USPS Flat Rate Shipping to confirm which size of box they’ll need. Users of the app simply tap the “Will it Fit?” button, choose a virtual box size and position the real-life item to check it will fit inside.
