This week we are highlighting LCD monitors in the 22″ Full HD category, which includes sizes from 21.5″ to 22.9″ with resolution of 1920 x 1080. There are 15 brands featured in the advertising with Samsung, Iiyama and LG the top three advertised brands over the three countries. In France, Iiyama leads followed by Samsung and Asus.In Germany, Samsung is top followed by LG in second and Acer in third, while in the UK, Iiyama is top followed by Samsung in second and Acer in third. Over the three countries, Iiyama takes the top position with the ProLite B2280HS-B1, followed by Samsung’s S22C450B in second and Iiyama’s ProLite E2278HD-GB1 in third. In France, Iiyama takes the top two positions with the ProLite B2280HD-B1 and the ProLite E2278HD-GB, with the Asus VE228T in third. In Germany, Samsung’s S22C450B is first followed by LG’s 22PM55HQ in second and the Samsung S22C65K in third. In the UK, the three leading models were Iiyama’s ProLite E2275HD-GB1, Iiyama’s ProLite B2280HS-B1 and AOC’se2250Swda.
The average dollar price was up 1% year on year over the three countries. The average dollar price in France was down by 4% YoY, while in Germany it was up by 3% and in the UK it increased by 4%. The minimum price in August for a 22″ Full HD LCD monitor was $100.33 plus tax.
