The UK’s Digital Television Group’s Testing arm (DTG Testing) is launching an HDMI interoperability testing service. The unit said that that ‘many’ of its customers have found that HDMI compliance and certification does not guarantee that licensed devices will function correctly and be fully interoperable. Customers can now have their devices tested against the DTG’s receiver collection, comprising around 450 integrated digital TVs and STBs.
