Deutsche Telekom’s Entertain TV, its domestic IPTV service, saw an increase in new customers to 196,000 last year, and saw a total customer base increase of 7.3% to 2.88 million, compared to 2015.
The number of broadband customers also increased to 12.92 million, representing a rise of 2.2%. The move to fibre-optic delivery for broadband customers saw a rise of 45.4% compared with 2015. At the end of 2016, 4.25 million broadband customers had a fibre-optic connection.
Mobile network customer growth for the year was 3.7% to 41.85 million.
