Later this year, Deutsche Telekom’s EntertainTV will be made available as an OTT package, offering the service to customers of other internet providers for the first time.
Users will also be able to access EntertainTV via iOS and Android apps. Timeshift, restart and replay functions, however, will remain reserved for the classic EntertainTV package using IPTV. Details of the offer will be released in October.
EntertainTV Sat customers will also be able to add extra Media Receiver 201 units to their connection shortly. Users will be able to access TV channels and recordings via up to four additional devices in other rooms.
