Deutsche Telekom has confirmed that it will switch off its analogue cable TV service, according to Broadband TV News. A spokesperson for the company said that customers in Bavaria and Baden-Württemberg will undergo a trial digital switch-over in April 2018, while the full, countrywide operation will commence in August, after the FIFA World Cup, and conclude by the end of the year.
