The Taiwanese Business Weekly claims that Apple will build a depth-sensing camera into the iPhone 7. A patent for the technology was filed in 2010, but according to sources, was delayed by supply chain and image quality issues. Apple is said to have solved these issues through a partnership with camera maker Largan, and by acquiring imaging company LinX (Looks Like 3D Depth Capture is a Hot Topic).
Separately, Bloomberg claims that Apple’s next iPhone is in production now, and will feature the Force Touch technology from the Apple Watch/2015 Macbook.
