Compal’s revenues fell 18.5% MoM and 5.3% YoY in July, to NT$56.9 billion ($1.8 billion). Year-to-date revenues were down 11.1% at NT$406.5 billion ($13 billion). The company shipped 2.4 million notebooks in July and 18 million in the first seven months of the year. It also shipped 190,000 LCD TVs, up from 160,000 in June.
Despite the low result, Compal is positive about growth in August and September, and also expects to see a rise in Q4.
