Futaba has unveiled new flexible PMOLED panels, for small devices such as wearables.
The EPW1802AA is a 1.8″ greyscale PMOLED unit, with 160 x 32 resolution. It has 600 cd/m² of brightness, a 10,000:1 contrast ratio and 35ms response time, with an SPI interface.
A full-colour unit has also been announced. This is a 1.4″ panel with 128 x 16 resolution, but no more information has been revealed. Mass production will begin soon.
