William Eccleshare, chief executive of Clear Channel’s operations outside North America, has said that the company’s UK business will make more than 50% of its revenue from digital displays this year. It is Clear Channel’s first market to reach this point. In 2015, Clear Channel UK generated 30% of its revenues from digital displays.
“This is the year that we’ll reach a tipping point,” said Eccleshare. Clear Channel now operates about 7,600 screens across 19 international markets.
