Christie has two new single chip (0.65″) DLP laser phosphor projectors, the DHD630-GS and DWU630-GS, which deliver 6,000 and 5,400 ANSI lumens, respectively, with FullHD and or 1920 x 1200 (WUXGA) resolution. The projectors have four segment colour wheels (2x or 3x speed) and provide 6,000:1 dynamic contrast (and a claimed 4,000,000:1 with full on/off using Christie RealBlack technology). ANSI contrast is 250:1.
Inputs are HDMI (2), DVI-D and VGA as well as HDBaseT and ethernet RJ45 with one of the HDMI ports looping through. A full range of control features is supported and there are a range of GS lenses from long zooms to UST. Noise is 36 dBA and power consumption is 650W in normal mode. Weight is 39.94lbs (15.85kg) without lens.
Warranty is three years parts and labour on the projector and three years or 15,000 hours parts and labour on the illumination system.
