CES Recognises Long-term Attendees

CES celebrates its 50th anniversary in January 2017 when the annual show is held in Las Vegas. As part of the celebrations, it will note 37 companies which have exhibited for more than 40 years. This includes ten companies who were at the first show in New York in 1967, where black-and-white TVs were among the “hot” products. Only one company, Panasonic, has exhibited in every show and it will get special recognition. Individuals will also get ribbons to show how long they have been attending.

Analyst Comment

With one ribbon for every five shows, I look forward to getting three ribbons, or a 15 year one, as I will have completed 18 consecutive CES shows in January. (BR)
