Canon has released a new lightweight headset, the MReal S1, which is mainly said to be targetted at corporations in Japan. With a price of $38.400 (full system including system and software), it’s unlikely to be for gamers!
The headset is designed to be much smaller and lighter than earlier Canon products (just 137gms/0.3lbs). It has stereo camera modules to support Passthrough AR. Canon released a promo video for the device

So far, I haven’t been able to dig out the details of the imager. I’ll keep checking but if any readers know, please contact me. Canon never seems to be afraid to put high prices on its products. (BR)
