Canon says the camera market has ‘largely bottomed out’

What They Say

DP Review reports that Canon has said that it believes that the camera market has ‘bottomed out’ at its current size.

What We Think

The DSC (digital still camera) market has shrunk a long way as mobile devices have taken over for almost everyone, but there is still a market for integrated and rear viewfinders. One of the features that I like on my Sony RX100 VII camera is the pop-up viewfinder. It’s often too bright when I’m taking shots to get a good image on the rear viewfinders, so the OLED is very convenient. (BR)
