Canalys Looks for Stability from PC & Tablet Markets

canalys

canalysUK-based Analyst, Canalys, has forecast that PCs this year will enter an ‘era of stability’ and that PCs and tablets combined will drop 2.1% this year to 398 million units. In the commercial sector, the adoption of Windows 10 and the latest Intel chips are said to be the key factors. There may also be some impact from ‘device as a service’ offerings although they remain limited in impact at the moment. The company also expects several vendors to boost their adoption of Chrome OS devices targeted at the education sector.
