Broadcom Ltd is to lay off 1,900 employees globally, says Reuters. The cuts, which will last to 2018, will cost the company up to $650 million.
Avago finished its acquisition of Broadcom (Avago to Buy Broadcom for $37 Billion) last month. The new combined company has forecast adjusted revenue of $3.55 billion (+/-$75 million) for its fiscal Q2, which ends in April.
